BIG GAME HUNTING

Long time outfitter Gustavo Olsen of Dove Outfitters, Inc. boldly decided to take several groups further north to pioneer some new shooting areas.  What they found was beyond anyone's wildest expectations, resulting in this new and untouched wingshooting destination.  Dove Outfitters have signed an unprecedented agreement with the Tucuman government, and now hold the exclusive commercial wingshooting rights in this province for the next ten years.  Tucuman promises to be the hot new destination in Argentina for dove and pigeon hunting for years to come.

Located within a 45 mile drive from the city of Tucuman, is some of the finest wingshooting you will ever experience.  Surrounded by citrus groves, sugar cane, corn, sorghum and soybean fields,

 these dove fields are as picturesque as they are productive.  Continual crop rotation ensures a reliable forage base for these bird populations.

Rodeo de los Bueyes Lodge is a new lodge, one especially designed with hunters in mind.  On the premises, some amenities you will find are a  gun room, big fireplace, swimming pool, along with 6 bedrooms, each with two beds and a private bath.  Also available on this property are hiking and horseback riding opportunities.  This beautiful 1,200 square meter lodge is nestled in on the valley floor in the middle of a 3,000 acre citrus estancia.  As a backdrop to this lodge, you will find that the lodge enjoys commanding views of the Calchaquies mountain range.  The meals will be the same high quality that you have come to expect at any of our lodges, and will be accompanied by wonderful local wines and the same excellent service.

Rodeo de los Bueyes lodge was rated by the most respectable dove hunters as the top lodge in Argentina during the last two consecutive years.  You will start your hunt in the morning, arrive back to the lodge for lunch and siesta, then go out again in the afternoon.  At times we will provide an asado (cookout) in the field to enjoy a full hunting day.
